History of TLC of Hastings

Hastings Total LifeCare was started in 2008 by a group of individuals who wanted to reach out to individuals and families in crisis pregnancies. We opened our doors on March 2, 2009 to offer hope, help and respect to everyone who comes through our doors. We have a staff of 3 individuals, but rely primarily on our volunteers who answer a call to serve our clients and their children, born and unborn.

Through the support of individual donor, businesses, the community, and churches we added ultrasound services in November of 2010, again offering it at no cost to our clients. Research shows that 90% of women who see their unborn baby through ultrasound, choose life. What’s even more interesting is that as much as 99% of men who see their unborn child on ultrasound advocate for the life of that child.

We go beyond the walls and doors of our center to educate and encourage better life choices for our youth. We have a great impact in schools and church youth groups with education on sexually transmitted diseases and their consequences, and the message of abstinence until marriage, encouraging young people that they are worth the wait.
